Autotrail Cheyenne 2008 Remote Control

Hello

I have the above motorhome and the remote control for the standard head unit does not work.

The remote’s only function is to change from tv to reversing camera.

I attach a photo of it and can confirm I’ve tried changing the battery but without success.

Would anyone by chance have one they don’t need or can offer advice how I can get the reversing camera working.

If you can't source a replacement it might be worthwhile opening up the remote (don't have one but they generally split in down the middle) as a common fault is a dirty / poor connection behind the button.

If you can get it open try cleaning the back of the button and the connection on the board.

If this doesn't work you could also try fixing a small piece of foil to the back of the button. I had some copper foil I used on a tv remote I repaired but I've heard of others using other types of foil.
