Hi all.
Hope someone can help....We have the above camper with a over the driver/passengers rooflight is leaking, it seems on inspection that the white plastic moulding thats first contact to the bodys pod/fairing has lifted and split slightly in one corner and the perspex/poly roof window is warped and doesnt come down to the body in places....although there is a rubber gasket seal I think that the lower plastic seal needs replacing or the whole rooflight....anyone had the same issue and if so any advise please, ive sealed earlier with silicone to hold back any water as its travelling inside the lower rooflight extrusion and spoiling the overhead interior...thanks for any contacts in the north of uk or parts supplier... I think first thing I would do is clean out the detritus and see if it will seat correctly again. It may need removed to do this. Hopefully someone with knowledge of that roof light will be along.

good Luck

Sorry. Can’t help with that bit. Hopefully someone that knows your window type will be along soon and this may bring it up the list again. I think removing it completely to see what your dealing with is an option. From the picture it looks like something Is deformed. might be worth doing a thread to see if sny9ne can identify it and help search for parts?

Hard to tell from that photo, but is it a curved roof light or flat. If curved the replacements are hard to find as they were a disaster. My advice if it's curved is to heat it up with a hot air gun, but keep the gun moving to heat the whole edge evenly and straighten it up to colse properly then use sikaflex to permanantly bond it closed

Thanks guys, im goingvto try two things first, clean out the old cracked mastic and replace plus try to divert the water to each side by using a plastic moulding siliconed onto the roof before it untill i find a full replacement. Cheers wilks
