Autosleeper talisman

I am looking to by a motorhome and like the autosleeper talisman, the one I’m looking at is a 1999 version, however it only has a 1.9 TD Peugeot engine, is this engine suitable for normal motorhome driving or is it under powered as I can’t find a decent older van with a bigger engine and the talisman is a 3kg van. Thanks

Hi Steve welcome,

If the engine is in good shape I would think a 1.9 turbo diesel should cruise adequately on the motorway, I guess it depends on what you consider cruising steep hills may be a challenge though.
