Camper vans for 20 years until 2020 when we bought our first motorhome
Now that Autosleeper spares have closed down their telephone lines and stopped supplying spares for vehicles older than 2010, does anyone know of where to get spares for our older Autosleeper motorhomes?
At the moment, I need the small vent cover (140mm diameter) that goes on the front bulge over the cab of a 2004 Talisman, if anyone can help.

Have you lost it or just want a new one , if you still have it post a photo , it is very unlikely Autosleeper made it, there will be something at least very similar available and almost certainly cheaper than from AS 👍

No spares before 2010 !!!

What are they doing to their reputation for after-sales service?

And what are they doing to the second-hand value for their existing owners and prospective S/H owners.

It is like some manufacturers will not accept MHs over a certain age into their workshops for repairs.

N&B still accepted our 2003 Arto for window seal replacement in 2022 and still supply spares, if needed, not often.

BUYERS BEWARE! Check the reputations for after-sales support.

Thanks so much for all your helpful replies.

However!

I have just managed to order and pay for the spare I want, from Autosleeper spares – even though this is what their web site says:

"Unfortunately, our parts department telephone lines are closed until further notice. If you require parts please use the link below. If you are a dealer please use the Leentech system. Please note, if your vehicle is older than 2010 registration, unfortunately we will not be able to assist with your enquiry".

But I thought I'd try anyway and blow me down it's ordered and paid for! Go figure!

Sorry if I've unnecessarily alarmed anyone.

I think one needs to find out why they appear to have stopped supplying parts to vehicles that are not even half way through their expected 'life'

Is it because a bunch of the older staff have left, and they don't have the staff to man the phone lines.
They know there no point in some newbie picking up the phone as when looking for an older part the newbies will not even understand the question, forget about being able to give a proper answer.

Or is it they have some new fangled parts system that only lists parts from 2010 which works fine when ordering online, but the older parts are all stored on microfiche.

Or do they have some new short sighted sales director who has decided that there is not enough money in selling older parts.

One of the "USP's" for me buying a Hymer was the fact there are still loads of them still on the road way past their 40th birthday, and the parts are still available.

Maybe the part you want is also on post 2010 models.

They are now owned by Trigano group……. Go figure…

As Triango own all the manufacturers listed below, they could soon stop doing spares for any vehicles over 15 years old, in the hope that people just buy another one!
I think if I owned a motorhome of one of the above makes, I'd like to find out pretty fast, as the devaluation of these brands will be extreme.

interesting list.

When I was researching and buying my first MH 15 years ago none of those, except Euro Mobil, appeared on my list.I think I did walk into a Benimar and walked out immediately.

How do so many manufacturers survive - many more than car manufacturers, for a much smaller market?
