Autosleeper door catch part required

I need to replace the plastic catch part in my photo. It is used with a push button catch. I've had a quick look on eBay but can't find one.

I would prefer to replace it with a metal equivalent and could probably make one. Before I get to work with hacksaws, drills and files does anyone know, please, where I might be able to get hold of one, preferably metal.

Thanks for the idea. I'll explore other avenues first as there are probably loads ready made sitting on shelves around the country. I just need to find them.

If you have a look at www.leisurelines.net and put striker plate in its search they have a metal one shown that is different to yours but may do the job.
