Thought I would give a shout for these guys. Went to York last week from Scotland. Phoned them up the day before and arranged to pop in on the way south to discuss options for a refillable gas system. Left a couple of hours later with a twin bottle Gaslow setup. All done quickly with no fuss, very good price IMHO including a nice wee discount for Funsters. Thanks guys. Oh and the unlimited tee/ coffee and cakes were appreciated :ROFLMAO:

Did they say anything about replacing them after 10 years.

Are these guys agents for gaslow, having problems with my system and gaslow website says a warranty on a complete installation , mi e is just 3 years old

A very helpful guy for sure, have called him yesterday and he suggests I weigh my bottles to find out what's going on with the gauges and call him back to see where we go from here

It's so annoying not knowing what is in the bottles and how accurate the gauges are

Post a picture of what your gauges are showing now if you can 👍

The first pic is the first bottle to fill which has filled normally in the past, the 2nd pic that gauge has never moved on filling.
Many thanks

Need to see the black line if possible, take a picture of the top of the gauges if the black line isn’t facing towards you 👍

When we bought our current MH it came with Autogas fitted,I had a couple of issues and phoned them and they were v.helpful 👍👍.

Cheers🍻

Hi thanks, think I have been confusing myself looking at the side of the gauge and not the top as you say it does show full on the black line. Will completely empty one then change to the other and see how we go. Many thanks for you're knowledge and help

No problem
I just wish more installers would spend a bit of time and position the cylinders so that customers can actually read the gauges easily.
We end up adjusting so many poor installation’s ⚠️

I have a twin bottle installation. Will it change over to the second bottle automatically? . I have pressumed it did not too sure now.

It depends how you have got it set up is the honest answer.
Take a picture of your existing regulator/ changeover valve etc .
I never personally use an automatic changeover valve even if we have one as being an idiot , I wouldn’t ever check and the first we would know of it is when the heating goes off , the other half is dead but nobody’s told her ,with how cold she gets 😂

Big thank you to Charlie & Karen Basildog for our Alugas installation today. First class service, splendid hospitality in God’s own county and sunshine inter’ bargain.👍😎

I have problems seeing the top of my gauges so have stuck a section of plastic mirror at an angle above them. Makes checking much easier.

Had a few issues with our LPG system, which was installed five years next month, so contacted Autogas 2000 to make an appointment, which we were able to tag on the end of our stay at Boroughbridge.

We arrived about 15 minutes ahead of schedule, and our camper was taken in for examination a few minutes ahead of our appointment time, followed by a small schedule of recommended actions & replacement parts, all of which were agreed. Shortly after that we had the tank filled with 20ltr's lpg and a very reasonable total cost.

Overall a friendly and very competent team which makes for a pleasure to patronise.

I have a job for them to do but I am busy and so are they. However they agreed to schedule an extra slot on Thursday for me at 6:30am. Perfect for me. Cheers Charlie (y)

This company and these guys are the best. I'll tell you why. I once thought, in the spring, that I had a problem with my Alugas system as It would not fill, in preparation for our upcoming trip.

Having made the appointment, I drove the 300 miles to Thirsk. What impressed me was that nobody laughed, nobody smirked, nobody grinned when they weighed the bottle and told me it was full. I had forgotten that I had filled it the previous autumn.

Really nice, friendly, helpful people. Truly professional.

They might have had a little chuckle once I had gone. Or something.

They posted on here under what have you forgotten this week
My father once rode back to a customer 150 miles in the freezing cold on an old mod motorbike only to find they had not turned it on.
