I'm in the process of arranging insurance for our new purchase and discovered the minefield of different insurers requirements.
I've read through the numerous threads on the subject, but failed to find the exact clarification I'm looking for.
The van comes with the Sargent S7 'tracker', which doesn't seem to be specifically listed on insurance comparison sites.
Contacted Sargent directly and they suggested selecting the following from the drop down as SES is them, but couldn't advise if the insurer description was 100% the model fitted, i.e. Sargent EC660-2 Comms Module:
SES Swft Co TRK (LCV)
Has anyone been able to confirm if this is the correct selection when declaring for insurance purposes?
A generic description of Tracker is also listed, but again, not sure of this covers the Sargent model.
Feeling resigned to putting my hand in my pocket again and fitting an S5 tracker and be done with it. May also future proof of S5 becomes a mandatory requirement with more and more insurers.
