Hi, help needed please.. does anyone know how to resolve an issue on the control panel when there are just two rows of squares??

I think I need to remove the panel surround, which is challenge 1- how?

Then challenge 2 is to unplug something at the back of the unit, and leave it for 30 secs, reconnect and all should be good - does that sound right?

It happened when I pressed the rear light button.

Power still working, lights, fridge and sockets. On EHU.

Any help gratefully received.

I don't have the same CP as yours but the bezel on mine just prises off then a couple of screws to remove the panel and then unpluge the cable.

As Diabalo says.. Usually the outer plastic bezel on these things will prise off, look around the edge you may see a small slot of cut out for a flat screwdriver. Remove that and you will find the screws. On the rear should be a plug that can be taken out. Worth a try (y)

The other thing to try is to shut the PSU off with the black button

Sorry to ask… where will I find the PSU black button?

The PSU is the silvery grey box ECxxx with the breakers and fuses, there should be a few buttons and the black one is the system shut down button. Well it is on all the sargent systems I have come across.

Thank you so much Diabalo; pressing the blank switch in the PSU has worked! :giggle: fixed and learnt something! Thank you
