Just started!
Managed to wind our awning out, wind picked up, started winding it in and ........ stuck :(

Any suggestions as travelling on a motorway with the awning out might present some problems

It looks like your canopy is not tracking correctly. Last year ours got caught in a gust of wind and it snapped the fixing casting on one of the arms. I spoke to Fiamma in the uk and they sent me the required parts and talked me through the job.
That might be true! We purchased the van in July 2021 and we're fixing issues as and when we discover them. We plan on replacing the canvas and giving the whole thing a good clean :)

This happened to us once. A stone had been thrown on top (courtesy of my young son). We had to borrow an Allan key or ratchet to force it back in and strap it shut with rope for the journey home. We had to replace the gearing

I had same problem with our Thule Omnistor and canvas had began splitting on edge so thought about replacing until I saw cost of new canvas was about 200 quid,I went for a new one at 500!

£56 later for a gearbox - now fixed, just some adjustment needed :)
