Rally Chat Ashover Vintage Festival of Lights 2018 Please post on other thread in Scheduled Rallies

I'm planning on going here again this year and I know some other Funsters go from time to time
Who Fancies a small rally there ??
Dates are Fri 5th, Sat 6th and Sun 7th October 2018.
Although you can arrive after 4pm on the Thursday and stay until 12MD Monday

Cost LAST YEAR was £40 (may be more this year) applications for public Camping will be available to download in March

The Festival is based at the Ashover Showground near Ashover North Derbyshire there are two decent local pubs with food available although there there is a bar and live music Friday and Saturday and usually quite a few hot food stalls too
AND of course lots of steam engines stationary machines tractors and old transport as well as stalls and pet show

Maybe interested in this will keep a check On this thread thankyou. Would they let us camp together as Fun . They say on their website they can accommodate ccc club so it might be worth asking

Update
this years update from the society that runs the festival

can confirm that the price for public camping will be £45 per unit which includes all show entry for 2 adults and 2 children 5-15 (under 5's are free). Additional wristbands can be purchased for extra members in the party at £12 for adults and £6 for children.

Camping is available from Thursday after 12pm to Monday 10am.

When I getthe go ahead for the rally will post in scheduled rallies thread
