Hello guys,
I have a 5 mtr awning (Thule Omnister?) sitting in my garage and has been now for a few years. It was taken off (Damaged) from our 1st MoHo. hardly used it was damaged by wind whilst we were staying on an Aire in Trier. It went right over the roof.. Inspection of said awning disclosed both hinges on the spring loaded arms were broken at the van mounting ends. One of the adjustable support legs was also broken but this was a simple fix (done) . So. question.... Does anyone need spares or would like to repair it? I am told parts are available but have not tried. We just claimed on the insurance and fitted a new one.
Condition is very good other than damaged arms.
Case has some slight damage but has been carefully straightened out and this is hardly visible.
The gearbox is as new and in perfect working order
Both support arms are as new. work perfectly.
The roller / awning cloth is again pretty much as new. It was not damaged.
Every time I look at it I have grand ideas (My wife knocks them back) of fitting it to our house for the nice sunny days. and consequently the thing is still sitting there looking at me.
Anybody? Spares or fix it?
Make me a decent offer for it and take it away. Wind out handle is included and you know what they cost to replace.... ;-(
