We have recently bought a 2008 Arto 74C, had two Hymers in the past so it will be interesting to see how this shapes up against the workhorse B644 (2003) that we had until a few years ago.

Any how our Arto does not have any bonnet stays or gas struts, could I ask a kind forum member to take a photo of where the bonnet stay or is it a gas strut picks up and then I can get this sorted out.

Thanks

Barrie

Is it not just a metal rod that holds it open, which will sit under the bonnet somewhere and could have fell off/ been lost.

I suspect you maybe right but the manual mentions gas struts but I cannot see for the life of me where that would go and why would it not be there.

Thank you very much for the photos. I have exactly the bracket on the inside of the glass fibre bonnet that you do.

I think you are right about it being the original Fiat support strut, I will get one of those.

Thanks

That is not an OEM Fiat one, that has bends in it and shorter.
