Ever since lighting was by Calor gas.
Seems about O.K to me depending upon how soon you checked after stopping.
Was everything turned off? I.e. no parasitic drain from the radio, alarm, tracker etc.
When you test the voltage after a run the battery will still have some of the residual charging voltage.

The voltage sounds OK but the only way to know is to use them off-grid and see how long they last. Batteries on the way out might be struggling after an evening watching TV with a couple of lights on. Good batteries should last a couple of days or more. It depends, of course, entirely on how much power you are using but you should be able to last at least 24 hours. If you can't you are either using too much power or the batteries are indeed goosed. :)

Since 2008 & many years tugging
If they were fully charged I would expect them to start off over 13v and over a few hours drop to about 12.9v (depends on type of battery. 24 hours with no load at all should still be up around 12.7v.

I suggest you put them on a mains charger for 24 hours to get them fully charged, do each battery individually as one may be dragging the other one down.

Immediately after a run I would expect to see around 13.6v.....the charge voltage residue.
If things are turned on I would expect around 12.6v
As said, connect a known load like a headlamp bulb, then check volts after an hour or so.

Depends how long after a run I suppose. Do battery places do load tests any more?
