I am about to change my motorhome and my preferred choice is a Hymer Exsis i-504 6.2m but the only one in the country it seems is near Brighton. Does anyone have any Exsis near Penrith please that we could just look at? TIA

The Hymer Exsis-i 504 will be a very nice motorhome.

It looks like our last Exsis-i 576 with 2 feet chopped off the back. (making the big double bed into a transverse single.)

A smaller garage but a much more useful payload. A very nice motorhome for two. (or three).

We would have kept it but I needed an automatic.

I may be able to answer any specific questions you have

I was involved in looking for a 504 (5.99 m long) with fellow funsters. Over 18 months or so, we only found 2 for sale. One in NI which had been bought back by dealer from the people they sold it to due to engine failure and it was never resolved by them so too iffy, and another at Oaktree in Nottingham. The one at Oaktree was LHD and the drivers seat was very tight against the steering wheel when turned, reducing the space around the table.
Otherwise it seemed a lovely MH with a great layout if you want two sleeping areas with the single across the back and a double over seating at front. The older ones much nicer than newer ones in my opinion.
So if you have found one for sale now (and not an old advert hanging around on internet) worth travelling to view.

Thanks for your reply. I have in recent years had a B504 6m long which did have a single rear bed but the Exsis I-504 I believe is 6.2m long and the rear bed is double albeit slightly tapered at one end. We are concerned that the reduction in width of the Exsis combined with the length it may feel too compact. Otherwise it offers us everything we need and should give us an adequate payload. I don’t fancy a 720 mile round trip just to view!

We had a B504 @ 6m previously but at 6.2m this Exsis model offers a larger rear cross bed than the B504 model @6m.
We feel we just need to see one to ensure it’s what we want as the last one we bought was an expensive mistake.
