I'm planning a couple of trips to Europe this year and i am looking around for useful stuff for the van (satnav, inverter etc or stuff i've not even thought of). I am wondering whether to spend my money online based on endless hours of reading reviews or go to a motorhome show in the hope of displays, advice and, most importantly, good deals. There's a Warner's show in Yorkshire in a couple of weeks and I'm wondering if it's likely to be worth the visit or is it mainly aimed at people looking to buy vehicles.
Anyone any views on whether it's worth half a day?

Stuff is mostly either overpriced Chinese tat or from reputable well known (often online)dealers /installers,IMO, generally not many bargains to be had...no doubt pitch rent, travelling and staffing don't help

Not done a show for getting on for 10 years, but things like tables and chairs were always poplar or having solar fitted things like that, but we had a faulty camera, we knew the stool holder and did most shows in those day's, and changing it was no problem. 😀
Bit of a different story going to the next show or sending it back if the seller only has a lockup and chooses to ignore you.🤔

But this day and age we would use Amazon, their returns / refund policy is the best we have found, OK you can't view the item but buying is easy and delivery is great. 👍

Even here in Spain, if it's not a drop off point, we can let the driver in our gate from anywhere in the world, 😉 providing we have Internet. 😁 Bob

Personally I’d go down the research/online route. You could always have a look at the companies attending before you went if there’s something specific but most space seems to be devoted to new vehicles and non-MH related stuff.

I've converted a few vans and bought everything online except timber.Dont think we've ever bought anything at a MH show.
Good if you want a new van or the social side perhaps but we won't be doing anymore Magnum motorhomes isn't far from us used them for some stuff but as always " A tap "is £10 "A motorhome tap "is £50 ::bigsmile:
