Well you should be able to answer that one yourself Paul as you have owned about 5-6 in the short time we have known you!
now you have gone down to a van coach built version you have experienced from top to bottom 🤣🤣
but don’t worry we will still speak to you😉
as long as no one is watching 🤣🤣
the one in the picture looks like nice van👍

I often think the ups vans would make good conversions but you never see them. Wonder what they do with them when they've reached the end of their commercially useful life?

Believe they're not sold on and all scrapped to maintain brand integrity.

Their vehicle bodies are manufactured by various factories and believe there's a "patent / restriction" for them to be sold to anyone else.

I used to drive them, the bodies are thin aluminium with no insulation and semi opaque fiberglass roof to get some natural light in, I drove two types one Citroën based and like an A class and the other VW based and like a coach built the VW was nicer to drive, they had suspended drivers seats but the passenger seat was a fold down single bench seat.

From one to the other ?

Fwiw, it really depends what you want to do; if you want to drive to Lisbon and back in a week you probably dont want the extra weight of an A class. If you want to have a couple of months sight-seeing you probably dont want a Pvc, the choices are anything in between. How lucky are we to have all these options?

My 6m A-class weighs about the same as a 6m PVC. I'd guess the main reason a-classes tend to be hefty is because they tend to be long.

I wanted one when I first went full timing.
This is a good google term to search for. Include the quotes.
