Hi, are A class more secure as the van fronts seem to be getting easier to unlock? Noted quite a few have extra locks on these front doors due to these being opened during breakin's - even tying doors together.
I've seen habitation doors with the folded security bar handle but not on many A class......what do we think?

no they are not. In fact most motorhomes are shocking, a van conversion with proper factory locks on are more secure but it's not the doors you have to worry about it's the windows and garage entrys. I broke in to mine in less than 5 seconds when I locked my self out.

Would think any van with windows is easy enough to break into?

Especially the types of windows on must motorhomes?

pretty shocking then for what they cost! Not keen on fitting those locks across the doors, seems a shame but as you say the windows almost need roller shutters!!
Maybe I should go back to a huge RV as you couldn't reach the windows!!

I thought it might be that there are some many of these Fiat / ducato vans / transits out there, the common thief could practice getting past the locks! I remember when I was younger a AA bloke opened my mates Ford with his key off his transit!
