Anywhere you can recommend

We just stopped at Carpe Diem at Vera. Nice place but pretty full, easy walk into town for the bars etc (and there’s an Iceland nearby to satisfy the UK food fetish!)
It is pretty full most days so worth an email to try and reserve a spot before turning up. They keep the spot until 2pm unless you tell them you will be later and it you don’t turn up they have a queue of people waiting.

We then went to Almeria port to watch the ships:). E13.50 for the 24 hours and plenty of bars just outside the port. (No services at the port)

HTH.

There are three (perhaps two) rather uninteresting sites south of Mazaron. we like the garage site on the coast road just south of Aguilas with nice town and excellent beaches.

Check Campercontact in that area. Puntas de Calnegri. There are two, perhaps three autocamp areas. One I have seen that has never been open when we were there. Our Favourite stop is Autocaravanas Anibal where you can wash your van, walk to super quiet beaches or cycle into Aguilas a couple of miles away on cycle track.
