I have a photo taken for the back of a book (photo of the author). Neither Martin nor I recognised me at first glance !!!!!!!! Makeup and lights can make any ugly duckling look glamorous, serious and intelligent!!

Light are on order....already got the makeup as I have some left over from grouting the bathroom.

Can I have a large pot of it please, and Hazel can you apply it for me? Cos I wouldn't know how much is required each time, do I need a spatula or plasterers trowel?

I have never used the stuff in my entire life and never would, I don't fall for all that guff.......so you won't be needing yer trowel.....Purity of lifestyle helps...and if you believe that, you'll believe anything.

So the time has come to change my avatar as no longer have my Hymer B544 in the French field.....question is what do I change it to ? The new van...or selfie...or funny GIF. Is a selfie a bit narcissistic and only for beautiful people...do people REALLY want to see what I look like....do I include the one who must be obeyed...what if we split up (she’s new !) Is the GIF funny or just annoying.....maybe a picture of a much younger male model and pretend it’s me.....a flag showing my political persuasion...@Jim wouldn’t like it....?.

When I first joined fun my name 'Mel' was taken, as was 'Mel B' so as Judgemental on another forum had recently called me a 'Minx' I used that. Unfortunately people though I was a boy so I changed it to 'Minxy' but people still thought I was a boy so I changed it to 'Minxy Girl' ... yup people STILL think I'm a boy at times!

Judgemental (RIP) then followed me to this forum as did a few other members.

Yes, he drooled over La Strada but unfortunately he had a licence health restriction so couldn't go over 3500kg. I do miss him.

I found finding something original was a nightmare so I thought of my childhood tv hero the 1950s Robin Hood played by Richard Green and as he had the same initials as yours faithfully, job done. I used an avatar as I would never live it down if I had posted a picture of me in green tights.
