As the title, anyone know of someone that can install cruise control to our motorhome, closest that I have had is Cambridge... Did enquire at Conrad Anderson but they'd want it up at Birmingham for the day.... That's slightly out of our way tbh... If anyone knows of anyone whose around in Benfleet, Essex then please feel free to post it here.. Would rather if they were coming here but dont mind travelling but not as far as Birmingham...

Many thanks in advance..

Many than

I bought and then fitted this cruise control myself, it's an easy fit for the DIY-er.

No, I used the option to splice onto the cabling behind the OBD port.
was there any fiddly bits to do or was it quite straight forward, as I might get the OBD bit and plug that in... Was there anything to do to in with the engine or was it all in the cab area...

Apologies for the questions...

Sorry don't rmbr an OBD bit for mine... but then again that was for a Movano, so maybe differant..
To be honest I just handed whole kit to my local (very good ) independent garage and he fitted it... said he was familiar with this kit as he had fitted quite a few to various vehicles..
Price... without dragging paperwork out I can't rmbr, but I do rmbr dropping it off.. going for a bimble around town and back 2hrs later... all sorted and it was not extortionate...
Best extra I have fitted to my MoHo... by far.👍👍👍

All on the driver's side in the cab.
If your using the OBD cable then that solves that area and you move on to parting the cable connector near the pedals and connecting the two halves to the cable connector block for the cruise control. Next, you remove the cowling around the lighting and wiper stalks at the steering wheel and drill a hole on the lighting stalk side to mount the new cruise control stalk.
Run the cruise control wiring up to the new stalk and refit the cowling, then follow the instructions to program whether you are manual or an auto and your pretty much done.

The OBD cable was not an option when I fitted mine 5 years ago. The new OBD cable is just an easier way to pick up the earth, 12v and canbus line rather than fiddling about splicing into the cables behind the OBD socket.
