I am trying to get the paperwork processed to increase my payload on my Autograph 3 794i.

I have semi air suspension and uprated front springs fitted by Carl at Gliderite.

Dee at VWE tells be the stf alloys are rated at only 1000kgs

I can’t find anything official about these.

Has anyone got over 4 tonnes using std wheels?

Any advice would be helpful.

On Bailey's website it states the weight is 3850kg, also running on 16inch wheels.
So your not far off 1000kg a corner now, you would be better asking Bailey the question direct.

I went through the same process with Dee on my 79-T. Problem is, even with different wheels, the chassis is limited to 4,000kg maximum anyway, so for 150kg extra, minus the additional weight of the air suspension, I didn't think the not insignificant cost was worth it, so am committed to losing 20kg from my own not small frame to give us some more space for stuff :giggle:

Thats due to the standard 235's on the Transit, each corner is actually rated at 1200kg on the alloys..
I have just completed my up-plating with Dee. I have the new Ford transit with 235 alloy wheels. I have changed the tyres to 10 ply rated 121. I have Dunlop rear air bags. The original alloy wheels are rated at 1125kgs per corner. Rear axle rated at 2250kgs

Can I ask the costs of VWE please? SvTech have quoted £280 plus vat.
Thanks
