Apparently school is shut on 21st September for Eid so we thought we would take advantage of the long weekend.

Does anyone fancy joining us? If theres enough we could have a short notice "mini meet"

We are thinking of staying here

Gail maybe isnt Geo, and i dont care either way
but the school maybe has a muslim majority register.

no point opening the school for a small minority of 'other faith' pupils.

We'd love to join you but we don't want our home to turn into the Hereford Rock Festival venue. We have teenagers and you never know what you're going to come home to.

All secondary schools in our borough apparently close for Eid so it means we can take advantange and have a long weekend away.

I think they have 1 day less over summer holidays and use it for the Eid school shutdown.

Where are you gonna be that weekend? Fancy joining us?

Hi Gail,
That site looks great and I can't wait to go there with my two. Sadly though we can't make those dates as we are vanless untill my window arrives. Im hoping it arrives before Linton Lock meet but I wont hold me breath.

As for Half term, we are not sure what we are up too. We are heading for somewhere in Wales, probably too St Davids area if the Welsh let me back in But Nikkis mum has just had an op and can't walk at the moment so I may be spending my half term Nursing oh:

Great site and great food at the black horse pub a couple of minutes walk also you can go past the pub and theres some info on the end of the lane showing you the way on the footpaths to the rose revisited a lovely pub on the banks of the thames
