I have a 2020peugeot boxer based m/h and have been having problems with the TPMS.
The TPM unavailable warning light keeps coming on randomly then going off after minutes sometimes.
it has been in garage three times to get this fixed (fortunately under warranty) but they have been unable to fix it yet.
It comes out every time 'fixed' only for the fault to reappear soon after. They have changed the TPMS module last time but still no fix.

my query is

could someone with MES check their vehicle in the TPMS part under 'Parameters' and see what the last part 'Electromagnetic Interference' reading is?
mine says 219% which is way over the 30% they suggest.

Just wondering if this could be the problem with my system.

thanks in advance.

Not sure that they can help?

I bought a Multiecuscan from Genban when I first bought my second hand vehicle, 6yrs ago and, thank goodness I have never had to use it because I'm not very techi but, I thought my MES was vehicle specific just to my vehicle.
I would not surprise me if I'm wrong?
Sorry can't help! 😢

if its indirect sensor - have you checked the tyre pressures and do you have any wheel wobble - ie tyres need balancing, if its direct, there is a sensor/transmitter is inside each tyre and it will be one of these that keeps going off, your dealer is being lazy and only changing the receiver module. does it say which tyre is the problem ? what they should be doing is interrogating the van for faults and it might indicate which one is faulty

Multicuescan is for Fiat vehicles only. There will be different software to diagnose Peugeot Boxer as the electronics do differ just as a lot of the mechanics especially engine differs from the Ducato despite the common body shell.

clever but unreliable it seems - i have this - goes on anything, chinese of course but it just works and more informative and simple than the internal ones. Takes a bit of setting up but watching the tyre pressures go up from cold is educational.

It's a sensor in a wheel thats the problem some of these are temperamental to say the least.
TPMS guys have a hand held unit that is placed near the sensor and gives a diagnostic.
If you have a spare wheel fitted remove that and try without it. Or check the pressure in the tyre. Sometimes the module gets confused as mine did when I was carrying spare wheels in the back

There are independent TPMS guys all over the UK.
I have diagbox diagnostics for Peugeot but your miles from me

Multiecuscan is not limited to one model it can read a variety of fiat alfa masserati etc.
the tpms is not controled by the engine ecu but by module known as other and will need a yellow adaptor. Many of the non engine ecus on Peugeot Citroen vans can be read by MES.
Alfaobd is a good alternative (PC and android) it will also read Peugeot Citroen engines .
I do not have fiat TPMS so cant directly help

Thanks for the all the replies people.
Believe me I have been trying to get this fixed for months and tried all sort of things tonarow it down but since it is intermittent fault it is proving difficult to find the culprit.
The reason I asked if anyone could give me their electromagnetic interference reading is that the tyre sensors send their readings to the body computer wirelessly and maybe this high reading I have might be confusing it.

IF you have a spare wheel, and IF your sensor tells you which tyre is giving you problems, why not swop put the spare to the vehicle while you sort the problem with the sensor inside the tyre?

Tried that or similar. Rears were wrong recognised so swapped them and computer swapped them wrong again itself.
Also to make matters more difficult it can be either of the rears that's show faulty. I have had the tyre sensors pinged at a garage and all are working perfectly.

so let me get this right, all this trouble for something that is rubbish, unreliable, cantankerous and expensive - or 15 quid for something that works and is better. hmmmm.

Yep, the joys of buying a brand new vehicle. This system was fitted as standard so have to make the best of it now.

Wouldn't have been my choice but there you go.

true true sorry your in so much pain and agro over it

No pain or agro just a challenge.
Might be making progress though. It appears both front sensors are working fine but both rears only work intermittently so causing the warning to flash only now and again.
Going in to dealer again 1st December so hopefully they will get it right this time.
Meanwhile I am still out and about regular in it.

Might sound daft, but check the sensor on the other wheel. I had issues on mine (Fiat) where the diagnostics kept saying the front nearside sensor was faulty. Changed it multiple times, before they changed the front offside sensor. Problem fixed.

Reason the Diagnostic software doesn't know it's a Righthand drive. So when it says nearside it means continental nearside i.e. our offside!!!!

Errors for mine come up for both rears so I would want both changed. And yes the rears are continental sided but the fronts are normal uk sided for some strange reason.
