Anybody going to the NW200 this week?

I am off to Ireland tomorrow for the NW200. Is anybody else going to be over there?

I'm over Thursday till Sunday, on bike though, I have a mate who lives on the circuit in Portrush just before Metropole.

Would love to do both,did the NW for years but last few years TT has been my priority as I marshal.

I was going to try but work is too busy... its a great week over there, hope the weather holds for Thursday night and Saturday, will be following on BBC NI which is great coverage.

Not going, been a few times over the years and enjoyed it but now tend to the Ulster GP. Great meeting.

Well should be off to TT Wednesday ready for practice Monday night. All dependant if sidecar drivers hand has recovered from a farm accident. Off tomorrow to get some chassis mods done. So all being well be flat out down bray hill next Monday.
If we are not racing I'll be off to France for a couple of weeks.

Are you asking about the NW200? I am here and I have no idea! I know when the roads are closed and that's it. It is Ireland though, so I guess it is to be expected. I have parked 200 yards from Metropole corner and as everybody says, the Irish people are brilliant.Boy, can they drink!

Can anyone tell me if the official campsite parking at the pits/finish line is hard standing or grass, thanks

Unsure, but last year we parked up here, 2 minutes walk to the promenade and 5 min walk to York Corner. Newly installed meters were charging £6 for 24 hours. Very well positioned

Tried to upload photo but said file was too large. Anyway it’s on Convention Avenue beside the fire station in Portstewart.
I hope to be back this year and include it in a 2 week holiday
