I like it, would have suited us fine when younger. Of course I could not have afforded it on my younger wages.
 
Interesting but I wonder how long the bed will last, with no support where the joint is over the rear seats you can already see there's a bit of a dip in it in the video ... once it's been used a few times or 'jumped' on (in every sense of the word!) it could be a failure point ... especially if its used by some of the 'larger' sized MHers (as is fat!).

I'm surprised its took vw this long to do one, the caddy maxi has been used by independent converters for years
 
We had a look at one of these, unconverted as a day van, but didn't like the lack of hight, if they do a.pop top then maybe
 
Reimo have done a pop top for the caddy for nearly a decade 👍
