Sorry to be a pain, I asked on here earlier this year and can't find the thread. I am going to see Jarvis Cocker (Pulp) in July with my nieces and we have decided to make a long weekend of it. Any good campsites around with lots of doggy walks for us please?

Gina, although some years ago, I got in touch with Arena Security Managment, and arranged to stay over in the car park, when we went to see Lord Of The Dance in Sheffield.
Whilst there, I enquired about attending a concert at the Arena in the MH. They offered us parking with the coaches, then when the concert finished, we would then move into the car park for overnight parking. Lighting, CCTV, and security made it a safe stopover.

Try giving them a call to see if they can do the same for you. :)

Good luck,

Jock. :)

Hi, my fella (RAM) lives in Sheffield & I'm up there quite often .

MHs are welcome in the car park here

I've stayed myself, foods ok, staff are friendly, there's hook up available but as I said, it is the car park.

If you want more info about transport or the pub Rob says you're very welcome to pm him.

& Yes there's plenty of walking from there too.....

More than happy to stay in a car park, we have stayed in a few pub car parks and have loved it. I would rather give my money to pubs. Most likely we will eat in there every night too (y)

Only just noticed. My original thread is below this:ROFLMAO: Thank you everyone for your help(y)

You could try Waleswood which is 11 miles away, good roads to get to and from, nice site based on Rother Valley Country Park. Has all amenities plus a cafe / bar and is a 5 min walk to Rother Valley with more cafes and watersports, etc
