Any idea's why my alarm goes of after I've unlocked my van and go in the habitation door and within 2 mins the alarm goes of, I've replaced the sensor

If you remotely lock/unlock the vehicle and then access it through the passenger door or hab door , it does not see the priority locking mechanism( Being the drivers door) so it will go off or flash lights or whatever. To gain access (as above by Woodgates) , you need to open the drivers door first. It will then see the truck / car / whatever being opened by the owner of the remote. Access will be ok and no alarms should go off whilst you are in it.
Most alarms are set up so that the priority is the drivers door

You probably need to open a cab door so that alarm doesn’t reset itself.

I think it’s this.
After an overnight stop, I unset the alarm but need to open a door (manufacturers door not an aftermarket hab door) to prevent the alarm going off.

Mine’s a VW Crafter but I suspect the same is going on with yours- the hab door isn’t part of the OEM alarm system and so the system either resets or doesn't disarm.

It's likely that your van is fitted with an Autowatch alarm system, and if so and it's only just started doing it, then it sounds like the hab door contact sensor has failed.
We have had the same problem with our 2013 Elddis 175 and I have replaced the hab door contact twice now.

Our van is fitted with a Gemini alarm. It has a self-arming facility that can be switched off. What it means is that if you’ve alarmed the van, if you disable the alarm but don’t open either of the front cab doors, after 30 seconds, the alarm rearms and will go off. In our van, this is not a fault but a setting of the alarm. We keep it switched on but remember, after disarming the alarm, to open a door within 30 seconds of disarming.
