Looks like the exhaust attachment for your fridge ,
You usually have a vent grill on the side of the van and when taken off it will reveal the fridge exhaust

Next question is, why is it not fitted where it should be ? or are you in the lucky position of having a spare. ;)

Id need more than that Clarky.

So why was it in a plastic bag in a cupboard and not fitted? Time to get the manual out I think.

Haven’t tried the fridge on gas yet.

Only used if your fridge exhausts through the sidewall . Roof exhaust wouldn't need it.

I’m a tad concerned. We’re away in said CV at the moment so manual not available. Not on gas for fridge so not an issue. If it’s an exhaust vent for fridge I’d suspect it’s a bit of a safety concern. Vents on the side btw.

CV is new. Brand new. Our first outing. Very nice btw. Oxon in Shrewsbury. Excellent site. But I digress.

I’d imagine that this thing should have been fitted during the manufacturing / build process?

Just pop off the top fridge vent and see if the same thing is in place at the top right.
There should be a cutout for said item to poke through in the back of the fridge vent.
If there not one there then use the one you have. (y)

We toured 4500 miles last year using gas, 12v & EHU for the fridge with that thingy not fitted, so suspect it's not an issue. (our van having its Habitation service so I can't check the manual either)

Only used if your fridge exhausts through the sidewall . Roof exhaust wouldn't need it.
And not all sidewall venting installations use it either, if the van is supposed to have it it will have a separate section at the end of the grill.

It’s a fart filter.

Insert in bum and the charcoal filter on the end will remove all nasty nifs.:LOL::LOL:

I don’t believe it !!!!
Of course, she would have no need of such a thing. All is sweetness and light where Kate is concerned.
I, on the other hand...........................................:Eeek:
