I am in process of fitting a Fogstar Drift Seat Based Lithium battery under the front passenger seat.
After seat removal and disconnecting seat belt connector this small white connector is connected to nothing. No other work done in this area before now and as is from new.

Any idea what it is?

Did you unplug it when you removed the seat? If you did, it needs plugging back in! 😉

If you didn’t; seat load sensor, heated seat connection or seatbelt pre tensioners is all it can be. The loom may be there (hence the spurious plug) but may not be connected to anything in your vehicle based on the specification you have. The don’t make different looms for vehicles, just one which covers all options buyers can specify. 👍🏻

My van had a shunt built into the negative terminal block. So there were wires leading back to the van's electronics.

There was nothing attached to it when seat was removed and nothing around to plug it in to. The seat belt pretensioner is a different plug and I have disconnected it separately.

Our MHs and campers usually had something under the seat not connected, it's just there in case another 'option' was going to be fitted so just ignore it.

As I posted above, it will be spare loom connection for options not on your van. 😉

Heated seat option?
Mike.
