Hi All

We visit the FOD and Wye Valley fairly frequently and we have stayed at the following campsites-
Bracelands
Whitemead
Rushmere
Which are all pretty good, but are there any other sites you could recommend?

We tow a car so easy access is fairly important.
Thanks

We recently did a fun rally with the Welsh mob at Ellwood football club. It's a CCC CL and plenty of space. Coleford about 2 miles away, we had a good walk up an old railway track but had to rehydrate in town 😁👍🍺

Coleford rfc takes campers as well
Lydney is very sweet town

I recommend Brookside campsite, Newland. It's a C.L. Very beautiful area, and a lovely spacious site. Hawthorn Cottage is also very good.
We are here now and would also recommend it, lovely part of the world,

It was at one time, but is now suffering the same malaise as most other - formerly quaint - towns. I.E. Drugs & antisocial behaviour. But it does have a heritage railway and pleasent dockside area & park.

Thanks everyone I'm going to check out Brookside and The Apple Orchard and I'm also looking at Broadstone Park in Staunton 😀👍

If you like your mountain biking the best “secret” trails in the Forest are directly opposite Broadstone. And the White Horse in the village is really good too.

The White Horse is our favorite pub we love it there, so Broadstone is definately on the list. (y)

Booked Brookside and Broadstone for now might book another 3 days at the back end of the week we’ll see how the weathers looking.
Thanks everyone for the recommendations👍
