Thought it would be helpful to have a book that covers motorhome electrics, ideally including wiring diagrams and component choice.

I've seen there are some books available, but the ones I've seen seem to get mixed reviews.

Any recommendations?

Have you searched for 12 Volt books? I found a couple that were helpful when rewiring our boat. There is also a lot of free information for download or reference on the 12 volt planet website (my go to for parts) and also on the Victron website.

He has a lot of videos on YouTube and has written a book. He seems not to do the same as many youtubers ie, get freebies and promote them. He buys his stuff. Also, I've found nohma to be relatively expensive compared with others easily findable online.

We have a new 7.9m A Class MH on order. I am keen to do the off grid power myself as i think i am capable. This would be a large amount of solar, lithium, inverter and propane upgraded the dc to dc etc.. Or daily usage i calculaste at about 3,300 Wh.

It would be good to have some help behind me and to make sure i don't make any big mistakes. I have seen Nohma, Vunked and Off Grid Solutions online.

What advise or experience does anybody have with these companies or others?

Lots of us have used Off Grid Solutions and we have been very pleased, we will definitely use them again for any further work. Nothing is too much trouble. They explain things very clearly even for those of us who have the bit of our brain that understands electrickery missing. I don’t recall the other two being mentioned on the forum and we talk about this stuff a lot.

RogerIvy and his son nigelivy at Offgrid are the ones to chat to. They sell the components and give a discount to members.

If you understand basic elecrics there is not that much do do
and almost all of the information you need is available on this site.

The main thing is to do it in bytesize chunks and understand each step.
It is not necessary to do every thing at once.
