Does any one use any kind portable 12v compressor to inflate such things as Awnings ?

Just looked up ebay , only problem I can see, is legnth of power lead, in relation to Awning & getting to each valve. So it may the Ryobi battery unit, which has no cord , obviously. So that may do it. thanks for your help.Look up 12v air bed inflator eBay/Amazon

Yes, that’s why I start off with a large volume hand pump !You probably want one of the type that are use for paddleboards & kayaks but they are flipping noisy.
Great news. Be careful not to whack it up on full pressure though. From memory I think most (certainly my Vango) are only about 7 psi.Thanks for all your help, I’ve bought an Outdoor Revolution 12v pump, it has all the fittings to do the job, spoke to Customer SErvice, very helpful recommended a lead extension that would work with it, and said they wouldn’t recommend re chargable cordless for the volume needed. Not tried yet, but Attwoolls, where I bought it said they give a 12 month warranty & to bring it back if not satisfied. So we will see.
