Planning a trip to see the statues next week, something we have been planning to do for ages , but never got round to it.
Can someone please tell me where is the best place to park, thanks.

There is a carpark at the South end of the sands, we wrer there in April, no barriers
Did not camp there though

Worth checking the tide times too.Mid to low is best for a view.

Best place to park and view is Crosby car park by coastguard station L23 6XW no barriers its pay n display but not expensive, also ships coming and going with tide close in,enjoy.

I would park by the coastguard station (53.4966689,-3.0584155) as you get better views. It’s no overnight parking though.

You can if you want but it’s often quite busy at night, full of “courting couples” and such, it’s unlikely you’ll be moved on but not sure even I’d risk it:rolleyes:

This is about the nearest site, but expensive

Or there are several in Southport including Pleasureland itself where MHF and RVOC have had several rallies

Can see them from my mum and dads and my brothers..they live right across the road..Sorry very limited parking outside their flats

We just parked our 8 metre motorhome on the road outside the park just before the road to the cafe. Didn’t stay the night though.

was there last week when we were at Southport C&MC site for 5 nights , definitely worth seeing .
And there is a decent mobile catering van in the carpark which sells proper coffee

In the cold weather they are not that impressive 😀 but neither would I be in the cold !!!
Parking is available by Crosby Leisure Centre or The Coast Guard Station at Hall Road.

Just be mindful of soft sand/mud if you walk out to them. The ones furthest up the beach are no prob, indeed some joker had put a jumper on one when we were there and we spent ages puzzling how they'd actually managed it without ripping the jumper!!!
Some of the ones down by the tide line can be dodgy. there are signs warning of soft sand/mad but we missed 'em and ffi was up to her knees at on point where upon we beat a hasty retreat to the cafe!
