Anyone know if you can swap the aerial/antenna over to another mirror?
Is is like a stick on back of the glass type (like heated glass) or something else..

When you dismantle the mirror, remove the top large mirror and you will see it's a ribbon aerial held on by two removable plastic fixings. Once removed it can be refitted to the new mirror.

Why would you want to? Just curious.
No worries in asking, as I have often wondered on things myself but hopefully this explains it :drinks:

Want to get another mirror as mine used to move whilst driving along so I drilled a hole and stuck some pins to stop it moving... Only thing is that if I get too close to the n/s then its goodbye mirror as it wont fold in - plus where we park outside the house I have to have to park on the n/s so I can fold the o/s in so the dustmen can get passed...

I have to say that the Fiat mirror aerial in my new Fiat is the worst reception motor vehicle aerial I have ever had. Any recommendations on how and what to replace it with?

Do you have Mirror Guards fitted ? they do have a bad effect on radio reception. The original Fiat radio worked fine, but when we replaced it with a Pioneer it was next to usless, so will follow this with interest.

Well yes I have the latest Pioneer Radio/Head Unit and Mirror Guards but the reception was still as useless before I fitted them and no worse with them now fitted. I think it's just a very poor aerial.
