We are ensconced on a lovely pitch at Mikki’s. Last year we came for a couple of nights but stayed 5 weeks. It was so pleasant and relaxed.
This year the weather has so far been even better. Got up to 20° yesterday and blue skies again today. Arno’s been busy and there is now a spacious dining tent with patio heaters so it’s pleasantly warm enjoying a meal or drink in the evening.
Usual mix of British, Dutch, German and French motorhomes. Everyone rubs along pretty well.
We plan a week here and then will head west for a couple of weeks before going to Spain. Aim to be in France for mid March.
Had some lovely meals and the Portugeuse are most welcoming. Anyone hesitating about coming here, get packed and head off!

We stayed there last year. But could only stay for 2 nights. Would have liked to stayed longer. very nice people there. But we will be back.

Looks interesting, see they have pottery/ceramics workshop if fancy getting your hands into clay.
Have to ask how much are the pitch prices, cannot see a link to prices on their website, but gather from trip adviser is become rather popular.
Many Thanks
Les

We turned up last June for 2/3 nights, stayed until end of December, and are returning early next month to put a large German caravan on our permanent pitch and live there, using the pvc to carry on touring! ...like it? We love it!
Mmmm lucky you . Great idea

Weekly/monthly pitch costs please?
Les

See my previous post. :)

Weekly/monthly pitch costs please?

Standard pitch ( which was large enough for my 8.3m van) €7.50 pn exc leccy. Not sure the daily leccy rate, but not much. There’s a €2.50 fee for the first night ( covers water etc) but only once, no matter how long you stay.
Monthly rate on standard pitch is €190 and €40 for unmetered 10a Leccy.

Larger pitches are up to €250 pcm max, with metered leccy, and most have water and waste on pitch.

Prices are the same all year round.

Very busy over winter, but usually a space somewhere. As we speak the guvnor is creating more pitches! Lovely in the summer. Great bar, food and pool.

Thanks for the info @BreweryDave, a thank you star emoji didn't feel good enough for all that info. Hope have a great time with your caravan in Portugal, sounds like a great plan.(y):)
Its a place that we will definitely like to visit as it sounds so good. Not sure yet when as a lot going on at home, but its on our wishlist and seems very reasonable also.
Les & TinaL

@TinaL - we paid for our 6 metre van: €12.50 first night, €9 for next 6 nights, 8th night free. All include leccy.

Hi.... we are coming over towards the end of March. Could someone tell me where Mikki’a is please.

TIA. Chris

Near Pera, ( Algarve). Satnav may struggle as it’s off unmade roads. Here’s a map, the green route is easiest, more tarmac, the blue is only accessible if heading west on the N125. The Galp garages there are a good reference, as is the sand sculpture place which is well advertised and signposted. And whatever you do DONT take either track where I’ve put a Red Cross, even if your sat nav wants to!

Yes take the blue track we stayed last year 7.4 m Hymer no bother but a bit isolated if you don’t have ulternative transport long walk to Pera shop

We are nearby at Pedro's and met a group of Mikki's at our weekly BBQ. An inquisitive nature aided by @BreweryDave's map resulted in our driving over to see for ourselves. Not for us but it sure is popular.

Have fun all who stay there.

p.s. We used the green route, even easier if you don't miss the sign instructing you to turn R.

We stayed at Mikki’s last January, there is a nice vibe about the place. Favourite bit was the excellent meals that are on offer two or three times a week, not so good bit is that it’s a tad remote, many of the long stayers appeared to have other forms of transport,
