I have installed another solar panel on my new to me motorhome. I already had a Votronic 350 MPPT controller to replace the existing PWM one.
Panel and all cables put in conduit and clipped down together with new gland fitted all was going well.
Connected Votronic to existing battery feed. I then connected the solar feed to the votronic and connected it wrong way round which blew the fuse in the Votronic ( only 15amp) !
Immediately realised my stupid mistake and connected correctly then replaced fuse and Votronic came to life.
Will I have done any irreparable damage? As I am new to this Hobby Optima and its workings might there be something else I have blown? Any advice please?

As its working it appears the fuse did it's job and saved the circuitry.
It may be worth disconnecting one of the panel wires so the controller sees the battery voltage before the panel voltage then reconnect.
It needs to see the battery voltage so it knows it's 12v and not 24v

Sorted ! Don’t know how but turned off solar input fitted another new fuse in Votronic unit and all good. Could have been a dud fuse maybe.

Thought it was sorted! Solar is charging both batteries but when they are full there is a discharge indicated on the panel. Could that be the split charge relay or similar ?
