With my TomTom Satnav now struggling with age and the new TomTom SatNavs no longer supporting 3rd party POIs I was looking for a good replacement that could accommodate my collection of 400+ POIs. I came across a relatively new Android App called POI2NAV which incurs a small purchase fee but it is excellent. You can now store all your POIs on your mobile and with its powerful tag indexing, finding the desired POI is extremely easy, (I have my POIs arranged with Tags such as Geographical Location, CCC Club, CMC Club, CLs, CSs, StopOvers, Stopovers with CDP etc. etc, its up to you how you set it up). One click on the selected POI brings up a choice of SatNavs installed in your mobile, select which one and proceed. Popular free SatNavs are Google Maps, Waze, HERE WeGo and TomTom AmiGO. You can use your mobile for navigation but this also works on Android Auto. My campervan head unit does not have Android Auto, but I purchased the Standalone Android Auto 9 inch screen unit from Amazon, (LAMTTO 9 Inch Wireless Car Stereo with Apple Carplay & Android Auto) and works extremely well.

You can upload POI'S via the Web to my Tom Tom.

Ive never found an app that's better than my now Ancient TomTom Start 20. Will have a look at this one. I have hundreds of poi in the old TomTom.

Glad our Garmin still supports Custom poi's! We'd be stuffed without them!

This is just our UK ones (OK a couple of Irish as well).
