This might be useful to anyone recently affected by the sudden imposition of Fair Usage on their phone contract.
I spotted a deal today on the Money saving website.
ID Mobile 100gb inc 30gb roaming.
£5 for 3 months then £10 a month. £35 Amazon gift voucher. 12 month contract. Works out at £5.60ish a month apparently 👍

I tried them about a year ago, the app rarely works and the signal is diabolical. Went back to lebara. Someone said on here it's to do with the frequencies they use aren't completely compatible with Samsung phones, Mine's quite new too 🤔

Have used them for a while now, they piggyback the 3 network, like all networks the signal can be variable, but when good we have had speeds up to about 270 Mbps, unused data is rolled over, and because we have old contracts we have full roaming.
I also have an O2 SIM which normally has a lousy signal, but weirdly seems the opposite of 3/id, in that where one works the other doesn't!
Never had an issue with the app.

We found 3 network to be pretty dismal in most areas, moved to 1P mobile they use EE and in UK it’s very good.
We use Reglo in France.

I have used ID for three years and have been very happy with their coverage and have travelled extensively in Germany, France, Spain, Portugal and England. £8 per month with 50GB data.

Presumably you have all 50gb roaming and rollover?

I've now ordered a SIM from them. At that price it's worth a go. My daughter is using Smarty which also uses the 3 network and she doesn't have any problems so fingers crossed. Smarty only gives you 12gb roaming

The full 50gb will roll over. They have a 30gb fair use policy which I never reach.

If you have had your contract pre June 2023, they have removed the fair usage limit.:

  • data.

Fair usage policy.

Our open data fair usage policy no longer applies, meaning customers who joined iD or upgraded on or before 20th June 2023 can use their full data allowance in our 50 free Roaming destinations without incurring a surcharge.

I have used ID for 2 years now in my phone and it has been great. Travelled through France through to Greece, where we are atm. The only country is doesn’t cover is Switzerland. The app is fine, far better than Popit app which is dreadful.
