Hi all, first poster here

We have a 2013 Autocruise Alto (Peugeot boxer) that I'm adding an aftermarket reversing camera to. With a little difficulty! So the camera is fitted, the cable run through to the cab, attached to the back of my Pioneer SPH DA25DAB, wired to F49 (or 51 - can't remember now - ignition fuse anyways). Turning on the camera mode on the stereo gives me the signal, but when I put it in reverse the screen changes so I get the reversing lines but no camera signal! The camera settings on the stereo appear to be correct and I'm sure I've done something silly but can't think. Any ideas please? All welcome to chime in. Thanks in advance

Oh, the brake light works. Now I'm pretty sure I've got the correct cable (slightly thicker grey/green that I'm tapping into at the fuse box)

You don’t use the camera mode on a Pioneer just the signal from the reverse wire. Camera mode is for front and side facing. Check the manual. You can also get rid of the reverse lines if you want on the settings on the camera( you snip or join a wire)
The camera either isn’t getting 12v when in reverse or not sending a video signal to the head unit. As I remember the 12v from the reverse light isn’t large enough to power the camera so I took a 12v switched feed to mine. The canbus takes care of the reverse switch when you use dedicated wiring loom.

Hi, thanks for that. Do you mean 12v switched from the fuse box direct to the violet/ white reversing cable in the back of the stereo?

I powered the camera on a live that was on when the ignition was on. The picture appears when the headunit senses that reverse has been selected. I have no idea what wire does what I’m afraid.
