Angry Birds R.I.P.?

the company went public in September with a valuation of £786m

When I hear crazy valuations like this banded around (and it was the same with Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, et al) it always reminds me of the 'dot com boom' of 1999/2000.

The thing I struggle to get my head around the most?

The fact that it's a web site (in my examples above).

They don't actually make anything!?

Meanwhile, back in the real world...

Never heard of them.

It’s wives and girlfriends when you get home drunk and late.

It’s all going to stop thankfully(y)

No more angry birds.

I wonder if they are going to release the pigs back to the wild ? ( which in this case is somewhere in London )
And if they do release them, will the same method be used i.e. flung from a catapult..
Dare I say it.. but can you imagine the chaos at the local mosque when pigs start to fly !!!!!

I would imagine there are going to be some very serious questions asked as to how the September valuation was calculated with this happening so soon after it was floated ... something fishy possibly (rather than porky)?

Thank god say Jay what a load of crap

Is there something you haven't told us, Chris?[/QUOTE]

Ah yes, that invokes the traditional toast in the RN Ward Room of "Wives and girlfriends! May they never meet"
