Recommendations for sites in Anglesey please? Or wild camping?

Hi

This place was okay

You can coastal walk into town.

But I wouldn’t rush back to Anglesey

Free camping very difficult and frowned upon

We stayed on both CMC sites , the site with no shower block was by far the nicer . We love Anglesey, fantastic for cycling .

We found off-grid stopovers a bit difficult so we used a CMC site and also a pubstop - you can find them on most of the regular apps.
Anglesey is nice enough for a few days for us but I wouldn't rush back - there are better places on the "mainland".

Just come back from CMC Pensey. It was 100 per cent what it should be.
Great cycling, not many big hills, lots of quiet country roads.

Penrhyn Bay is a nice site. Got its own beach a small indoor pool we had to ourselves each day.
Small cl type site at Church Bay.
Site just past Beaumaris Kingswood or something like that i forget at the moment.

I heard that Penrhyn Bay was closing to tourers. A sad loss if true - I first went there over 30 years ago. Fabulous location.

Darfarn Rhos Site is fabulous an right on a fabulous sandy Beach at Lligwy Bay right on East Coast side of Anglesey.
Great spotless facilities.
Lots of dogs most people have 2 or 3.
Nice coastal path walks.
