Thank you so much. That's very kind.
I'm not going daft then.

As above, having just returned from a 4 week jaunt around France, I didn’t see many of those stickers on Motorhomes. More surprisingly, whilst sat on Saint Malo docks, I saw at least 20 Uk cars boarding without UK stickers on.

Happened once when we were crossing Plymouth - Roscoff back in the 90's in a car.
French Customs (?) were pulling over cars without GB sticker and sending them to a "booth" manned by Brittany Ferries staff selling them!
We had one!

If they had the small UK signifier on the number plate then there’s no need for a separate U.K. sticker to be displayed in France. It’s only in Spain that it’s needed.

Have never had any GB or UK on any of my vehicles, if you are in another country why would it matter where your came from if you break the law everyone should be fined the same🤔🤔🤔
It's there to tell the policeman what window to knock when he says "oot the car, Stirling"!

Lovers of Rikki Fulton will know what I'm talking aboot!

Mrs. Fulton would like the list.

They didn’t, just clearly thought not worth doing.

It’s an invitation to be pulled over if they feel like it. Once they’ve done that I would imagine they’ll have a look at other stuff. Even if all correct it’s another hour on the journey.

We did travel up through France from spain in the spring, I tried to get one in france and just gave up in the end.
However I did order these to be compliant as nobody's wants hassle and we do plan to do a French 6 month visa next year after a 3 months jaunt in Spain.

In this helpful article, it shows a coach/bus with the sticker not on the front sides but at the rear. So why not do that on a Moho?

There is another post with a German article which shows the stickers on the front of the Moho..

Bit confusing..

Ours are in the side locker, best place for the ugly things. Personally, I cannot see what safety benefits they add. If stopped I will plead I forgot to put them on and if fined so be it, small price to pay for the years I have dodged it. We were spoken too by a Policeman outside Calais who was interested in the van, on the realisation he may mention the stickers I made a comment that I had forgot to apply them before he did. He laughed and said something along the lines of nobody is bothered about those. Appreciate that not all officers may be of the same opinion but I’m happy to take my chance. We are very rarely in French towns other than Calais. We just don’t get France, so much of it is like the land of the dead with ghost towns, we have tried for years to work out when the shops actually open 😂 We are more Spain and Germany, but that’s just us.

The coach driver has a direct line of sight through the door windows and would be able to directly see a cyclist / other vehicle however, according to the text, there should also be an Angles Mort sticker no more than 3m from the front of the coach.

"On vehicles with direct vision systems at the bottom of the doors, or glass doors, the side signs must be “as close as possible” to the 0m-1m rule, and no more than 3m from the front of the vehicle."

Why their diagram doesn't show this???? but I'd go by the text as that what I believe the legislation is based on.
