I had an angiogram jan 13th
, having not heard anything i rang hospital and enquired if id been sent the results and they had gone missing in post, i was informed by secretary that my results had been misplaced, and i would be receiving them within a fortnight, i still havent heard and its now two months since angiogram,
Has anybody on here any idea how long you are expected to wait fir results , my echocardiogram results were back within three weeks: (two leaky valves.... hurrah)
Cheers pam

It takes over a month for a letter to progress from dictation to being posted second class here.
And if the secretary is on holiday or off sick it can take much longer.
If only hospitals and surgeries got there acts together and had the same system it would be so much easier for all

The NHS is exceptionally short of secretaries so unless doctors are prepared to produce their own letters and other documents you might wait forever! Our hospital has embraced modern technology and encourages patients to receive communications online, so you receive a text with a link to wherever you can access the content - usually on your NHS App, which we can access both on our phones and our laptops..
