Android car play

Hi guys looking to update my radio in my Globecar to a double din Dab unit just wondered if any of you have any experience of Android auto. Wondering if its worth the extra cash over one without.
Need my Radio 6 back.

Android Auto, not Carplay.

My brother has it in his Skoda and a friend has it in his VW. They've both said it integrates really well. Nice clear mapping which you know is up to date, and a good interface. Both say it makes the native satnav (when you don't plug in your Android phone) look pretty poor.

Just to note. When using Android Auto, you can only use approved apps whilst driving. Got nav I think the choice is Google Maps or Waze.

The alternative is screen mirroring, but that often has usability issues.
