Andriod Auto HELP

Andriod Auto (latest version) has turned all my maps into dark mode when using my Samsung phone, when I plug my Samsung tablet in the maps are normal (white/daylight). Don't like the dark mode and prefer to use the phone againt the tablet as I have to hotspot the tablet to the phone.
Anyway to get daylight back on phone?

Thanks for info, for no good reason Andriod Auto has go back to daylight on its own really weird.

There is a setting somewhere that sets the times to set the time to change from day to night and if auto.

On my previous Sony Android Auto head unit, somewhere buried in the settings on the head unit is a setting as to whether to show daylight maps, nightime maps, or auto. Auto means it switches to dark mode whenever your headlights are on.

Hi John,
Google Maps has it's own settings. Should this problem occur again then go into Google Maps settings, select Navigation settings, scroll down to Map Display, colour scheme, and then select option "Day".
