Years of Caravan, now got our new Malibu PVC
Pondering whether this would be good on our PVC so been looking at some youtube installation videos. Depending on the brand of air bags some have the air connection at the top and some at the bottom. Now it seems to me that having the air hose at the top would be best as it won't move and can be clipped up to the body. If at the bottom (spring end) the fitting will be hammering up and down (possibility of pipe coming loose) and will require a long loop of pipe to accommodate this movement (risk of getting hit by road debris). I think that if I do go for it then I will be looking for the top air connection type. Any views or experiences?

The deciding factor for me was whether I had to undo the u-bolts. The EasyTop ones I fitted sat on their own perch. It meant I didn't have to worry about 10 year old suspension rust. 😅

I agree that having the delicate parts out the way is better. Fitted DriveRite to mine as it looked, and was a very well made and complete kit. Every part you need was supplied. Very very happy with it still 5 years later.

I agree, easy with the EasyTop version because they just clamp onto the spring , fitted mine in 2016.

The ones I have just fitted are bottom fed pipes have been tiewraped to the handbrake cable with a half loop to allow movement, I have added an extra clear 6mm ID pvu pipe to act as a sacrificial layer where rubbing may occur. When purchased i didn't realise that they were mounted upside down but to be fair they could have been mounted with the inlet up however this would have left a dish around the inlet that would be a real moisture trap
