Americana Reminder

Just a quick reminder to all those intending to go to the Americana meet. Quite a few intending to attend but only a small number confirmed. Tickets are being sent out now we received ours last week.

Anyone who doesn't know what the Americana is check the link below, if you like music it's one of the best weekends of the year.

I'll be away for a few weeks from today so RuthRV is going to manage the thread in my absence although I'll check in when internet is available

we have been going to the Americana for years now and really enjoy it, we were there the year when ladybirds swarmed and everything looked red. It was ages before we managed to rid ourselves of them, every time you cleaned the van out you would find a couple hidden somewhere.

Another year we had a swarm of those little hard black beetles and yet again it took ages to rid ourselves of them.

We like many others duck & dive to avoid the fast "buzz bombs " (those furry large flying thingies) which come out after 9pm every night for about half an hour.

County Music was the reason we first started going and then really enjoyed moving about to see artists on different stages, The Harley Bar & bikes, the beautiful cars, trucks and RV's.

I have no doubt we will be there again this year.

I can confirm we will all be together :thumb: other euro owners going too, ie Patrick, Thefman , Jock&Rita etc
Wouldn't dream of leaving you all alone, got to keep an eye on the kids

Time is closing in on this one, so please can you confirm when you have booked for this event, I know that some funsters want to go but are wondering if the cost is worth it, well there is only one way to find out, book it if it doesn't rock your boat then you don't go again, you will have a great time so go on you know you want to

Well I have downloaded and printed off the booking form.

I will write a cheque out and pop it in the post next week, I just need to bring my self to pay this ammount for a weekend. Don't get me wrong I know we are gonna love it, but it still hurts me to pay them prices.
Still, at least the kids are free, it will save us having to hide them in the bathroom.:thumb:
