Introducing the improved Altura Arran 16. Designed with durability and practicality in mind. The Arran 16 gives you everything you need at a great value. One difference between this years and last is the material used. The only real difference is the Duratec 600 fabric (this years model) is slightly stronger and more durable. the other difference is in the design of the bag which has slightly changed as well, its still the same well known pannier though. Its is still coated with a water repellent, to keep the content dry in light drizzle, but is not fully waterproof.

There is a small pocket on the lid of the bag which is great for small valuables or a muti-tool. The attachment between pannier and bag is simple, its the popular Rixen and Kaul fitting, you simply just push into place, making sure it is sturdy and not moving anywhere. The Altura logo, sign and certain bits of trim on the bag are reflective, which is important to have alongside a good set of lights at night. Over all the Arran16 is the simple benchmark of what a pannier should be and what its should offer. With 16 litres you have plenty of space, reflective trim to be seen at night, small zipped pocket for valuables and a firm secure fastening system.
