Alternatives to Peterborough

We're gutted that we can't stay at Peterborough because of the weather (we couldn't pre-book as we didn't know if our latest grandchild would appear in time).
WE really wanted to get to meet a few Funsters.
So, what is the next best show to go to?
We're based in Hartlepool up in the North East so don't really want to drive the length of the country unless the show is good enough to make it worthwhile.

Hi, we've just posted a message about this earlier. Shame about the weather down there, especially if you've been looking forward to going :Sad: We've got a lovely sunny day up here, just cut the grass!

Hi, you could always join us for the weekend at Whitby. Same weekend as Peterborough.

You would be more than welcome. and it is all on hard standing...

Barbara would really suffer with the terrain in Whitby - we did consider it before Peterswamp, but decided it was too hilly at Cotham City
