Any recommendations for campsites from Granada to Anguillas please?

Camping Cabo de Gata was always nice although a bit out of town however nice walking out in the desert and about 1km to the beach along a nice walk😊 haven’t been back since 2019 just before covid lockdown😊

Spent a week there in November... really lovely, great pool and restaurant but they are doing a lot of work there to add pods, fixed tents etc. lovely walks as suggested...

Also, don't the plastic area you go thru first put you off, site is not near.. the plastic ends before you enter the reserve where the site is... there are 2 sites in ACSI to choose from..

Gosh when you read search for site’s reviews about this site it’s so negative. Just shows how subjective it is. Thanks guys

Well, they just built a new toilet/shower block which is quality... older reviews may not have that experience.. and 22 eur a nite ACSI price as I recall... we loved it...

Camping Cabo de Gata Cat.2
Ctra Cabo de Gata s/n
04150 Cabo de Gata (Almería)
Spain

This was the site in case of Confusion.. €20 a nite, sorry....!!

There is a Camperstop with facilities at Cabo. Are we talking about the same one?

Steve and Sue (above) have cleared that up. Huge increase in price since 2021

No, you pass the camperstop... that is right next to the plastic... the site is a few miles further on to the coast...

Sorry, I grabbed the wrong site... idiot... camping los escullos is the one I stayed at... sorry...

But my friends stayed at cabo de gato cat 2 as I wrongly mentioned above, while we were at los escullos and as have dogs, found it dog friendly and liked it...

There used to be a campsite at Roquetas de Mar, the t'other side of Almeria. Definitely camping at Almerimar too.

We have been using camping Cabo de Gata up until covid lockdown approx five years and always been a great place to stay, unfortunately about 2019 they also had a severe Flash flood which devastated them but the are back up and running again and we saw progress last time we visited😊👍
